Abraham V. Peña Sr., 64, was born on March 19, 1956 to Jose and Sara Pena in San Antonio, TX. He graduated from Hobbs High School, Class of 1974, after which he went on to serve his country in the Army and later in the National Guard. After an honorable discharge from the military, he joined the local fire department as a firefighter/EMT and served his community for four years before deciding to enter into the oil industry, where he remained for the next thirty plus years. During his wonderful life he was also a member of several organizations, such as the Eagles Lodge and the V.F.W. He was a very loyal and active member at Vida Nueva church, where he served as an elder. Abraham was well known by many people for his kindness, funny antics and for the big and generous heart he had.
