Alberto Villalobos

With profound sadness we pronounce the passing of our beloved Albert G. Villalobos.

Alberto G. Villalobos, 61, from Hobbs, NM, was born to Lorenzo Villalobos and Cruz Maria Guillen on January 15, 1961 in Van Horn, Texas. Alberto passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Albert was raised and educated in Van Horn, Texas. Albert was a very kind-hearted person, loved and cared for by many. He enjoyed making everyone smile and laugh. His memories will be cherished. Alberto was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Yvonne Villalobos and his brother, Armando Villalobos. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Yvette Padilla, Yessenia Villalobos and Yadira Cardoza; brothers: Alfredo, Adan and Amador Villalobos; sisters: Hortencia Segovia, Celia Ronquillo, Lupe Baeza, Emma Alvidrez, Lucy Chumacero and Aida Cervantes; 14 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM -6:00 PM, Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Griffin Funeral Home with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 6:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Pallbearers to serve will be Adan Villalobos, Adan Villalobos Jr, Alfredo Villalobos Jr, Norvin Ceniceros, Ruben Chumacero Jr, Robert Chumacero, Miguel Ronquillo Jr and Juan Baeza.
