Amber Sheppard

Amber Nikia Mackey Sheppard, of Hobbs, enter the arms of angels on May 25, 2021 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on August 27, 1986 to Ross and Clara Mackey in Hobbs, New Mexico. A funeral service in her honor will be held on Thursday June 10, 2021 at Christ Holy Temple at 2pm. Amber was a loving and outspoken woman, who lived her life to the fullest. She was always happy when she had her friends and family around. Amber loved looking her best and helping others do their hair. Her wild and outgoing personality kept those around her on their toes, as she always said exactly what was on her mind. Her fiery personality will be greatly missed by those who love her.

Preceding her in passing are her two kids Janelle and Bronshea Jr., mother, Clara Mae Mackey, her sister Clara Mae Mackey II, brother Justin Mackey and grandparents Ross Lee Mackey Sr., Jearldean Mackey, Roosevelt and Mae Dawson.

Left to treasure the memories are her father Ross Lee Mackey and his partner Debra Perry, sons Aiden and Ma’kai Sheppard, husband Bronshea “Teddy” Sheppard, brothers Ross Mackey III and Julian Mackey, sisters Lashell Mackey, Shondra Quarles, Sherice Quarles, Jocelyn Mackey and Macee Mackey. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
