Andres Orona Soto Sr., 71 was born December 08, 1953, in Ojinaga, Mexico to Federico and Consuelo Orona Soto. Andres passed away at his home December 17, 2024, in Hobbs, New Mexico.
Andres was a proud and caring father who deeply loved his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of his wife, children, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He also leaves behind many relatives, friends, and a community that will miss him dearly. Andres was known for his warmth, generosity, and the way he made everyone around him feel special.
Andres’ love for his family was his greatest gift, and he leaves behind a legacy of devotion, strength, and love to his wife Rosa Estrada Soto, son Andres Soto Jr., daughters Sandra Rojas (Antonio), Karisma Soto, grandchildren Jasmine Marie Rojas, Antonio Rojas Jr., Michael Anthony Rojas, Andrew Soto, Zaiden Soto, Bernice Quinonez, Makayla Quinonez, Mariah Quinonez, 6 great-grandchildren, brothers Manuel Villa, Alejo Soto, Gustavo Soto, Eloy Soto, Raphael Soto, sisters Ramona Galindo, Sheila Soto, Pilar Rios, and Rosa Elva Villa.
Andres was preceded in death by his parents Federico Soto and Consuelo Orona Soto Villa, stepfather Genaro Villa Sr., daughter Monica Soto, and a brother Genaro Villa Jr.
Andrés Orona Soto Sr., 71 años, nació el 8 de diciembre de 1953 en Ojinaga, México, hijo de Federico y Consuelo Orona Soto. Andrés falleció en su casa el 17 de diciembre de 2024 en Hobbs, Nuevo México.
Andrés era un padre orgulloso y cariñoso que amaba profundamente a su familia. Su memoria vivirá en los corazones de su esposa, sus hijos y todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. También deja atrás a muchos familiares, amigos y una comunidad que lo extrañará muchísimo. Andrés era conocido por su calidez, generosidad y la forma en que hacía que todos los que lo rodeaban se sintieran especiales.
El amor de Andrés por su familia fue su mayor regalo y deja un legado de devoción, fortaleza y amor a su esposa Rosa Estrada Soto, su hijo Andrés Soto Jr., sus hijas Sandra Rojas (Antonio), Karisma Soto y sus nietas Jasmine Marie Rojas, Antonio Rojas Jr., Michael Anthony Rojas, Andrew Soto, Zaiden Soto, Bernice Quinonez, Makayla Quinonez, Mariah Quinonez, 6 bisnietos, hermanos Manuel Villa, Alejo Soto, Gustavo Soto, Eloy Soto, Raphael Soto, hermanas Ramona Galindo, Sheila Soto, Pilar Ríos y Rosa Elva Villa.
A Andrés le precedieron en la muerte sus padres Federico Soto y Consuelo Orona Soto Villa, su padrastro Genaro Villa Sr., su hija Mónica Soto y su hermano Genaro Villa Jr.
