Angela Franklin

Angela Gail Franklin was born April 7, 1972 to Benny and the late Martha Franklin in Hobbs, New Mexico. She was the 3rd oldest of 7 children ordered, Benny Jr., Jacquelyn, Angela, Daryl, Rebecca, Brian, and Brad. She was the mother of 3 children beginning with her oldest Christopher Franklin, Angelisha Franklin, and Poetry Royal IV. She was the grandmother of 7 grandchildren named, Chris A., D'Shawn, D'Markis, Elijah, Adrienne, Leilani, and Chris F. Funeral Services are being held today, June 3 at Ebenezer Baptist Church at 2pm, with burial to follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Angela was passionate about her children & grandchildren. She loved to eat, therefore she stayed in the kitchen and fed anyone who was hungry. She loved to joke and laugh with such a cheerful spirit. Angela worked her entire life & still tried to throughout her sickness, she was a woman that refused to be dependent. Despite battling her condition for 10+ years & all that she had been going through she wore her illness like no one else could! Angela is preceded in death by her mother, the late Martha H. Franklin. She is survived by her children Chris, Angelisha, & Poetry IV; her partner in crime Poetry III; her grandchildren; her father Benny Sr.; & her 6 siblings. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
