Anissia Cruz Salazar entered Heavens gates on May 28, 2022. Anissia was born July 26, 1996, to Barbara Chavez and Hector Salazar. She was beautiful person inside and out, with a big infectious smile. Anissia loved her family and especially her grandpa, nieces, and nephews. She had many friends that she thought of and treated like family. Anissia was a loving person, but she was also strong with a good heart. She would just make things better! She absolutely loved her dog Gizmo. Anissia’s favorite color was red which makes sense because she carried so much love inside her. She loved bunnies and elephants, and Dream Catchers. She loved to scare people but hated to be scared herself! One of her favorite things to do was travel to California. Her light will be missed, but her spirit will live on inside each of us with her cherished memories she left imprinted on everyone she touched.
Anissia is preceded in death by her great-grandfather Melchor Chavez, her uncle Adolfo Chavez, and cousin Danielle M. Chavez. Left to treasure her memories are her parents Barbara Chavez and Hector Salazar, paternal grandparents Cruz and Manuel Salazar, and maternal grandmother Lourdes Matta, brothers Fabian Orona and Steven Salazar, sisters Jesenia (Marco) Sanchez, Cori Salazar, and Marylee Poñce, partner in life Cristobal Duenez, cousin Scotty Casialas, many extended family members in the Salazar, Chavez, and Alba families.
