Anna Garcia

Anna Mary Garcia, 47, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 in Lubbock, TX. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, November 14, 2014 at Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Pete Lopez, officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. A prayer service will be held at 5:30 PM, Thursday the 13th at Griffin Funeral Home.

Mary was born on November 14, 1966 in Denver City, TX to Guadalupe and Luz Sanchez. She was a great cook loved going to garage sales and enjoyed making blankets to give to people. Mary loved her church. She would always lend a hand to anyone that needed help. Her last wish was to continue to help others by donating her organs. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Guadalupe Sanchez sisters, Janie Martinez and Felicita Sanchez brother, Joe Sanchez stepfather, Cayetano Saenz and grandson, Elias Ray Garcia.

Survivors include her husband, Gabriel Calderon of Hobbs daughter, AnnaLisa Carrasco and husband, Alex of Hobbs son, Reyes Garcia and wife, Rocio of Eunice mother, Luz Sanchez of Hobbs sisters, Erma Jacquez, Diane Garcia, Angelic Sanchez, Anna Reinhart all of Hobbs, Lupe Hernandez of Midland and Roseanne Parks of Denver, CO brothers, Rudy Sanchez of Lovington and Jesse Sanchez of Artesia and grandchildren, Ezequiel Garcia and Noel Garcia.
