Ardon Lee

Ardon Dale Lee, of Hobbs, left this world behind on October 4, 2019, he was born on April 6, 1957 to Joseph Lee and Lawanda McDaniel in San Angelo, Texas. This loving husband, father, grandfather and eagerly awaited great-grandfather will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Memorial services for Ardon will be held Monday, October 7 at 2pm at Griffin Funeral Home.

Ardon was an avid outdoorsman, he loved bowhunting and spending time in the great outdoors. He also had a jokester’s spirit, there were always laughs whenever he was around, a skill that his son, Chris inherited. Ardon was a hardworking man, working his way up in the Potash mines to a belt foreman, in a pursuit of taking care of his family. He married his lovely devoted wife in the spring of 1988 and together they raise three wonderful children. Ardon also loved his Harley, a beautiful bike with wolves, eagles and done all up in silver and purple. Everything he did highlighted the care and dedication that he put in to all aspects of his life, and although his sarcastic humor could have bite, Ardon presence will missed by his family.

Left to treasure his memory is his beloved wife, Rhonda Lee, children; Chris (Teirra) Lee, Joseph (Julie) Cheatham and Christina Cheatham, grandchildren; Madigan Lee, Makalyn Lee, Natalie Cheatham and Alexis (Chance) Williams, and one great-grandchild who is yet to join us but will grow up knowing the stories of their great-grandfather.
