Bernabe Perez

Bernabe Guadalupe Perez, 60, of Hobbs, passed away, Sunday, December 30, 2012 in Lubbock, Texas. Mass of Catholic Burial will be 2 PM, Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Ruben Romero as celebrant. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. A rosary will be recited 6 PM, Wednesday, January 2nd at Griffin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Perez was born on June 12, 1952 in Juarez, Mexico to Florentino and Paula Gonzalez. Mrs. Perez enjoyed cooking and sewing. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Perez was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe and St. Helena Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Survivors include her husband, Macario Perez of the home daughter, Luisa Lerma and husband, Carlos of Hobbs sons, Armando Gonzalez and wife, Sandra of Amarillo, TX, Aaron Varela and wife, Rachel of Hobbs and Juan Gonzalez of Lovington father, Florentino Gonzalez sisters, Consepcion Gonzalez Varela and Manuela Gonzalez brothers, Lorenzo Gonzalez and Ernesto Gonzalez 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
