Blanca Granados

Blanca Granados, of Hobbs, passed away surrounded by her family on December 4, 2021, at the age of 40. A funeral service in her honor will be held 2pm on Friday, December 10, 2021, at the Christian Center, with burial to follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Family and friends are welcome at Griffin Funeral Home on Thursday from 11-7pm to pay their respects.  Online condolences may be made at www.griffinfuneralhomehobbs.com. Blanca was born January 18, 1981 in Hobbs to Azucena Granados Jacquez and Carlos Perez, one of three children. She was a strong, independent hardworking woman, who fought until the very end. A devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt, she loved her family fiercely. She devoted her time to working to provide for her children. Blanca was selfless in her desire to make sure those she loved had everything she could give them. Though she had a bit of a mouth, her heart was always in the right place. Blanca will be greatly missed by so many people who loved her.

She is preceded in passing by her father, Carlos Perez.

Left to treasure her memory is her mother Azucena (Jose) Jacquez, children Rae (Camren Clay) Tarin, Dezerae Tarin, grandchildren Jaxton and Ra’leigh Jo, siblings Raul (Denice) Granados and Suzie (Jaime) Pando, and her very first loves, her nephews and niece Mykal Pando, Essence Pando and Santonio Granados. She is also survived by her very best friends Luis Aranda and Gabriel Terrazas and numerous extended family and friends who love her.
