Bobbie Castleman

Bobbie Lorene Castleman (Heady) passed away in Sherman Texas on August 28, 2022.

The memorial will be held at Prairie Haven Cemetery Chapel with graveside services following.  Services will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 at 10:00 am located at Prairie Haven Chapel and Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at Griffin Funeral Home, Hobbs, NM.

Bobbie was born on August 15, 1935 in Ironstab, Oklahoma.  She was an independent lady and worked hard.  During her life, she did many things but at one point she owned a delicatessen and drove a truck.  Bobbie loved her dogs, working outdoors and was able to grow most anything.  She enjoyed having her family get together each summer.

Bobbie is survived by her brother Clarence (Scooter) Lewis, sons George Heady (Martha), Jerry Heady (Missy), Daughters, Nora Hogwood (Junior), Darlene Sprouse (Terry), Lorretta Bertrand, Toni Bonds (Matt), grandchildren, great grandchildren. great great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her Mother Ruby Lewis and her father Clarence Lewis and his wife Georgia May Lewis, brothers Harold, Curtis and Doster Lewis, son Frankie Heady, daughters Tommy Heady, Barbara Beck, Rebecca. (Becky) Alexander, their father Tom Heady, and her husband Leslie (Butch) Castleman.
