Bobby Boggs

Bobby Boggs, 68, of Nadine, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 at his residence. Bobby was born on August 8, 1946 in Hitchins, Kentucky to Virgil and Garnett Boggs. He married Geneva Land on February 12, 1966 in Hobbs and they celebrated over 48 wonderful years together.

Bobby was a member of the Army National Guard for 6 years. He worked in the oilfield his whole life and retired after 44 years. Bobby enjoyed camping and working in his yard. He loved reading and playing computer games, but his true love was his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronny Boggs and sister, Debbie LeFever

Survivors include his wife, Nena Boggs of the home; daughter, Bobbie Renee Boggs of the home; sons, David Boggs of the home, Stacey Boggs of Nadine and Robby Boggs and his wife, April of San Angelo, TX; sisters, Sarah Glenn of Hobbs and Connie Dew of Hobbs; brothers, Danny Boggs of Gardendale, TX and Jimmy Boggs of Waxahachie, TX; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
