Buena Ludesta Baker was born on April 19.1931 in Pelham Texas to the late Dewitt Hanson and Annie Mae Smith. She was took from the midst of her love ones on August 10,2021.
She met and married Bilty Eugene Baker Sr shortly after moving to Hobbs NM. They was united in marriage for fifty seven beautiful years until his passing. From that marriage together they raised 8 children, 3 boys and 5 girls. She was a loving mother and homemaker up until the her passing.
Ludesta loved the lord with all her heart. She was a member of Lane Chapel Methodist Church where she served as a Choir member, Stewardess, and Financials Treasurer. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved sports, attending games, and watching them on TV. All plants and any type of flower was her favorite. She had the greenest thumb that any gardener or florist could imagine. She could bring any plant or flower to life. She loved watching old movies and talking on the phone. Outside was her highlight of the day. She would sit out side for hours and I'm sure she would think of things no one but her and God knew.
ludesta was an only child.
She leaves to mourn, Three sons. Jiles Roy Brown and Billy Eugene Baker Jr(Donna) of Hobbs New Mexico, and Anthony laPaul Baker(Diana) of Mustang Oklahoma.
Four daughters: Joanna Hanson of Dallas Texas, Peggy Cox of Lubbock Texas, Brenda Lawson and Lavern Tate of Hobbs New Mexico.
Two sister in laws Nellie Armitage of Hobbs New Mexico, Hazel Robinson of Tulsa Oklahoma and one brother in law, Curtis Baker of Atlanta Georgia.
Twenty three grandchildren, fifty six great grand children a host of great great grandchildren ,nieces, nephews cousins and friends and special long time friend Ethelene Hutchings.
She was proceeded in death by her Father: Dewitt Hanson, Mother. Annie Mae Smith, her husband Billy Eugene Baker Sr, one daughter, Lillian Marie Ellis and One grandson Brian Keith Ellis.
