Cayetano Saenz

Cayetano Saenz, 72, of Hobbs, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at St. Helena Catholic Church with Father Juan Carlos Ramirez as celebrant. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM. Tuesday at Griffin Funeral Home.

Mr. Saenz was born on May 17, 1941 in Pedernales, Mexico to Jose and Josefina Saenz. He enjoyed working in his garden, growing tomatoes and peppers and tending to his grape vines. Cayetano loved to tell jokes was a very happy man and had a big heart. He was preceded in death by his parents daughter, Janie Martinez 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Survivors include his wife, Lucy Sanchez daughters, Lupe Hernandez, Diane Garcia, Irma Jaquez, Mary Garcia, Angelic Sanchez, Anna Reinhart and Rosie Parks sons, Jessie Sanchez and Rudy Sanchez brother, Santiago Saenz and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
