Charlotte Moomey

Charlotte Moomey, of Hobbs, passed into the arms of angels on January 30, 2020 in Lubbock, Texas with her beloved husband by her side. Born in San Diego, California to Jessie and Evelyn Carney, she was one of 5 children. A memorial service in her honor will be held 2pm, Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Griffin Funeral Home.

Charlotte loved her family, spending the last 27 years with her husband, Peter. Although she was not a very outgoing person, when she made a friend it was a friend for life. Her dogs, children and extended family will all miss her sense of humor and loyalty. Charlotte loved watching western movies and early morning cartoons with those she loved.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Evelyn Carney and dog Chicken.

Left to treasure her memory forever are her husband, Peter, children; Jack Carney, Peter Moomey Jr, Brandon Lea Moomey, Abby Moomey, Itsayee Moomey and Vera Carney, brothers; Jessie, John, Jack and J.D. Carney.
