Chloe Whitaker

Chloe Ann Byrd Whitaker 78, of Hobbs, New Mexico was born July 15, 1943 and passed on September 20, 2021. Chloe Ann is preceded in death by her late husband of 61 years Charles Byrd Sr.; son, Charles Byrd, Jr.; parents: Fred and Rose Clark; sisters: Dee Clark and Jill Budrow; brothers: Chuck Clark and Allen Clark. She is survived by her husband Joseph Whitaker; daughters: Dottie Phillip and Marie Melder (T.J.); grandchildren: Kelly Willis (Jennifer), John Charles Allen Willis (Christy) and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother: Danny Clark (Sandy); sisters: Penny Findley and Della Burt (Bob). Chloe Ann worked in health care for many years loving and caring for the elderly. She enjoyed bowling on leagues, working with arts & crafts and visiting with family and friends. Her door was always open for a good cup of coffee and she never forgot a birthday or special occasion.
