Clinton Lewis

Clinton Lewis, 81, of Hobbs, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 in Hobbs. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, February 12, 2016 at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Chapel with Pastor Benny Greenlee, officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00-7:00 PM at Griffin Funeral Home.

Clinton was born on May 15, 1934 in Brownfield, Texas to Jasper and Leotia Lewis. He married Neva Bien and they celebrated over 33 years of marriage until her death in 2004. He enjoyed dancing and won many dance contests. Clinton worked in the oilfield for many years. He loved being with his family. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a son and daughter.

Survivors include his daughters, Valery Jordan, Nita Sasse and Yvonne Luna; sons, Wendell Davis and Clayton Davis; 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Services are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
