Concepcion Cardoza

Concepcion "Concha" Cardoza of Hobbs, NM passed away peacefully and surrounded by family and friends, on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. She was born on December 19th 1947 and was 70 years old. She is preceded in death by her husband Adan Cardoza. She leaves behind 4 daughters, Mireya Garcia and her husband Mac of Seminole, Irma Ramirez and her husband David of Hobbs, Adriana Cardoza of San Antonio, and Connie Moncayo and her husband Lorenzo of Seminole and three sons, Adam Cardoza and his wife Martha of Hobbs , Victor Cardoza and his wife Esmerelda of Hobbs and Manuel Villalobos of Chihuahua, Mexico. She also leaves behind more than a dozen grandchildren and a few great grandchildren. Her family would describe her as always being comical, a strong rock and always loving. Despite the many illnesses and pangs of distress thrown her way, her faith was unwavering and she always did her utmost to exemplify God's servant Job, leaving for all a good example. She was a member of the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses where she made Jesus Christ's commissioned preaching work a top priority of her life. She loved talking to others about the Bible and took much faith in God's promise for the future found in her favorite Scripture, Revelation 21:4 - "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." The viewing will be on Thursday, February 22, 2018, 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Friday the 23rd from 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM at Griffin Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at the Hobbs Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Friday, February 23, 2018, at 1:00 P.M., 5024 N. Grimes St. Hobbs, NM 88242. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
