Cyndi Seymore

Cyndi Seymore, 58, of Hobbs, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Christian Center in Hobbs with Pastor Jotty Kinney, officiating. Interment will follow in Gaines County South Cemetery in Seminole, TX. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00-7:00 pm with the family receiving friends from 5:00-7:00 pm at Griffin Funeral Home.

Cyndi was born on October 2, 1957 in Wichita Falls, TX to Joe and Celia Kubicek. She married Danny Seymore in 1976 in Hobbs, NM and they celebrated over 39 years of wonderful marriage. Cyndi was a strong and determined woman, having survived breast cancer. She was proud to be the owner of the Bagel Café in Hobbs for the past 5 years and getting to know all of her customers. Cyndi was a good hearted person and had a kind and gentle soul. She enjoyed bowling and riding motorcycles. Cyndi loved being with her family, especially watching her grandchildren play sports. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Kubicek.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Seymore of the home; daughters, M'Lisa Baker and husband, Mike of Midland, TX and M'Lynda "Mindee" Seymore Smith of Hobbs; mother, Celia Kubicek of Seminole, TX; sisters, Vicky Johnson, Brenda Hughes and Sandra Powers; brothers, Larry Kubicek, Mike Kubicek and Dirk Kubicek; grandchildren, Allison Smith, Brennon Smith and Branson Smith and numerous nieces and nephews.
