Daniel Quick

Daniel Carson Quick of Hobbs, passed from this life to the next on November 24, 2022, in Lovington, New Mexico.  He was born on August 10, 1945 in Seminole, Texas. No funeral services are scheduled at this time.

Daniel was a man of simple pleasures, spending time with his long time love, Pam May, cooking for those who he cared about and Harley Davidson motorcycles.  He also greatly enjoyed fishing and spending time with his daughter whom he had a very close relationship with. Whatever Daniel did, he did with passion. He was a proud Navy Vietnam veteran. After coming home he worked as a fire fighter and ambulance driver before going to work in the oil fields and eventually working as a trucker in his later life before he settled into a quiet life at home.  His charming personality and calm loving demeanor will be greatly missed by all those who love him.

Daniel is preceded in passing by his parents Carson and Hazel Quick, and by his son Thomas May.

Left to treasure his memory are his partner in all things Pam May, daughter Melissa Morgan, son Jim Hawley, grandchildren Paige Ellis,  Savannah May, Brittni May, Cooper Hawley and Cayson Hawley and great granddaughter Adelyn Ellis. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
