Desiree Renee Williams, of Hobbs, passed into the arms of Heaven on September 30, 2020 surrounded by those who love her. She was born on January 1, 1969 to Ruben and Virginia Saiz in Clovis, New Mexico. A memorial service in her honor will be held 1pm, Monday, October 5, 2020 at the LDS church in Hobbs, New Mexico.
Desiree had a loving heart, always looking out for people and animals alike. Never meeting a stranger, she made friends wherever she was, at the casino, playing bingo, or just hunting a bargain at a garage sale. As she went through life, Desiree often would adopt people, and their pets, into her family. Though she never had children of her own, those she chose to call hers she could not have loved any more. She loved her family, and enjoyed the time spent with her siblings and other extended family members. Her warm, sarcastic, loving and magnetic personality will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
She is preceded in passing by her beloved parents and one sister, Patricia Cowger.
Left to remember her always are her siblings, Ruben Saiz, Mary Saiz and husband Ted Smith and Kathryn Saiz. As well as the children of her heart, Aric Cowger, Brendon Cowger, Ethan Saiz, Ava Cowger, Taylor Williams, Kara Williams, Hayley Riley, Asia Saiz and Leah Riley. Her brother in law Charles Cowger and heart sister Joanne Saiz.
