Donna Mccleery

Donna Jean McCleery went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 7, 2020. Donna was born on February 8, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas, to Charles and Helen Dozier. She worked at Furr’s Supermarket in Hobbs for 29 years, as well as, Lackland Air Force Base Post Exchange, Kelly Air Force Base Post Exchange, Gibsons, and Clarks. She owned and operated DJ’s Phillips 66 Truck Stop in Mineral Wells, Texas. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother and Chairwoman of St. Theresa’s Circle and President of the Altar Society in the past at St. Helena’s Catholic Parish. Donna was married three times. First to Albert C. Jordan, Jr. and then to Bryan Hastell Stroud, both of whom preceded her in death and to Darren McCleery. She had four sons Albert C. Jordan III, Jeffery Bryan Stroud, Charles “Chuck” Randall Stroud and Stephen Gregory Stroud. Two of her sons Jeffery and Stephen, preceded her in death. She is survived by son Albert and his wife Betty, daughter-in-law Kathy Stroud and son Charles “Chuck” and his wife, Brenda.

Surviving grandchildren and great-grandchildren include: Thomas Jeremy Jordan and Danielle and their children Brooklyn, London, Lilliana, Paisley, and Penny. Albert Clifton Jordan IV and his son Albert Clifton Jordan V. Joshua Stroud and his wife Mi and their daughter Sophia. Christopher Stroud and Tyler Stroud. Lance Crenshaw and his wife Linda and their children Brisia, Leyla, and Olivia. Patricia Jo Quevedo and her husband Victor, and their children Isaac, Jacob, Mathew, and Alexia. Charles “Charlie” Stroud and his wife DeeJay and his daughters Jaelynn, Jocelynn and Charly Ann. Joseph Rodriquez and his son Luciano. Stephen-Danelle “Stevie” Stroud. Bryan Stroud and his wife, Stacy. And not to be forgotten are Dan and Linda Horn, her dear friends, and caretakers.

A Viewing will be held at Griffin Funeral Home on Thursday, July 09, 2020, from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 12:00 PM, Friday, July 10, 2020, at St. Helena’s Catholic Church with Father Joe Pacquing to officiate. Interment will follow at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Hobbs, New Mexico.
