Doris Buschman

Doris Buschman, 70, of Hobbs, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 in Hobbs. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 18, 2016 at New Life Fellowship with Pastor Millie Miller, officiating.

Doris was born on February 10, 1946 in Weatherford, OK to A.W. and Bertha Buschman. She received an Associate Degree in Art from New Mexico Junior College. Doris worked at Thriftway for many years and enjoyed visiting and talking with customers. She also was a substitute teacher for Hobbs Schools. Doris enjoyed working in her vegetable and flower gardens. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Joe Hunt and grandson, Zailan Hernandez.

Survivors include sons, James Hunt of Nevada and Cory Ramos of Oklahoma; daughter, Jaime Kellow of Louisiana; sisters, Erna Howell, Bernadine Buschman, Geraldine Roberts and Chestina Bentle; grandchildren, Nevaeh Hernandez, Auhner Hernandez, Grace Kellow and Tielar Ramos and numerous nieces and nephews.
