Elaine Ivory

Elaine Willie Ivory left this earth on Saturday, March 28, 2015. Elaine was born to John Wayne (Shade Tree) and Elizabeth (Perk) Ivory on December 16, 1959 in Hobbs, New Mexico. As a young girl, she participated in the Lea County Jr. Rodeo Association and was an accomplished barrel racer. Elaine graduated from Hobbs High School in 1978 and attended New Mexico Jr. College. She was a hard worker and prior to having to retire due to health concerns worked at several local retail establishments.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Wayne Ivory. She leaves to mourn her passing, her daughter, Brenda Nunley of Hobbs, Clifford Nunley of Hobbs and 6 aunts, 4 uncles and numerous cousins.

Services will be 2:00 PM on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Pentecostal Church of God in Christ with Pastor Ernest Hodge, officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, April 2nd from 1:00-7:00 PM at Griffin Funeral Home.
