Elvira Fuentes

Elvira Fuentes (Marrufo) gained her wings on Wednesday December 8, 2021 with surrounding family and friends, at the age of 88 in Hobbs New Mexico. She was born on January 15, 1933, in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico to Juan Marrufo and Otilia Lugo proceeded in death by both parents, 2 sisters, and her husband Jesus Fuentes of 50 plus years.

Left to cherish her beautiful memory are her 3 children, Maria Elena Avila, Carmen Fuentes, Felipe De Jesus Fuentes Sr. Also 53 grandchildren/ great grandchildren.

Elvira loved receiving company from all her family and friends. No one left her home without a heartfelt hug and her signature red lipstick kiss on their cheek.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday December 15, 2021, at Griffin Funeral Home from 11:00am-7:00pm with a rosary starting at 5:00pm. Funeral Services will be held Thursday December 16, 2021 at11:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
