Emma Johnson

Emma Faye Johnson went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the age of 88. Faye Johnson was born on April 23, 1933 in Bonham, Texas to James and Zelma Price. She graduated from Crosbyton High School on May 16, 1952. She later married the love of her life Raymond Earl Johnson. Faye was a loving and caring person who loved children dearly even though she could not have any of her own. In 1973 through 1985, Faye was fortunate enough to be able to care of Paulie Gladden’s children, Tracie , Toby, and Tim. She loved Paulie and her children as if they were her own family. Faye was also a long-time member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints of Hobbs, New Mexico. Faye loved attending church and seeing her friends. She was a sweet soul and was dearly loved by all of her family and friends and will be greatly missed. Faye is survived by her sister Johnnie Jackson of Sherman, Texas, brother Will Price of Hobbs, New Mexico, as well as several nieces and nephews. Faye is preceded in death by her husband Ray Johnson, father James Price, mother Zelma Price, and sister Helen Perry.
