Francisco Trujillo

Francisco Trujillo, of Hobbs, passed away on April 19, 2019 in Lubbock, Texas at the age of 87. A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 25 at 3pm at Griffin Funeral Home. A visitation will be held that same day from 10am until service time. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven
Francisco was born October 25, 1931 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Ramon Trujillo and Manuela Landeros. Growing up, he learned the value of hard work and discipline, things that he carried with him throughout his life. Francisco loved to garden, working with his hands to make something special for himself and his family. Together with his wife of over fifty years they raised 9 wonderful children, and he took great care to provide for his family, working in autobody repair and paint. Francisco loved baseball, and would watch whenever it was on, no matter who was playing. He was a true fan of the sport. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Maria and daughter Manuela.
Left to treasure his memory are his children; Joe Trujillo, Ramon Trujillo, Jesus and JoLinda Trujillo, Peter Trujillo, Benjamin and Isabell Trujillo, Mary Trujillo, Elizabeth and Steve Torrez and Angie and Pilar Lujan as well as 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He will be truly missed by all those who knew him. Services are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
