Gilberto Muela

Gilberto Luna Muela, 41, of Hobbs, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 in Hobbs, NM. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, June 10, 2013 at Griffin Funeral Home, 401 N. Dalmont St. with Pastor Jesus Marin, officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.

Mr. Muela was born on March 15, 1972 in Hobbs, NM to Jose and Jovita Muela. He married the love of his life, Vanessa, on March 13, 2003. Gilbert enjoyed spending time with his family and friends reminiscing about his days of playing in his Dads band as a young man, he especially loved tickling his Mom and spending time with Goofy. He was very fond of his uncles and enjoyed working construction with them. As he would often say of the many jobs he held he was a jack of all trades and a master of none. Gilbert was very loving and caring and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jeremiah Rene, daughter Jovita Doris Grandparents Gilberto Luna and Dominga Luna, cousins Chrissy Luna, Jennifer Luna, Lisa Tarin and Patrick Lopez.
He leaves to cherish his memory wife, Vanessa Muela daughter, Danielle Parents Jose and Jovita Muela brothers, Robert Muela and Joseph Muela sister, Linda Muela niece Aliyah Muela nephews Dominic Muela and Daniel Muela Aunts, Martha Rodriguez Rudy, Modesta Manriquez Jesus, Mary Parras Ishmael, Rosa Fuentes, Susie Diaz Enrique, Linda Tarin , Lupe Zaragoza and Maria Manriquez Vicente Uncles Carlos Luna Frances, Ruben Luna Belinda and Peter Luna, and special moments with his many cousins.
The family will receive visitors Sunday, June 9, 2013 4 6 PM at Griffin Funeral Home.
