Glenna Denton

Glenna Denton, 94, of Hobbs, NM passed away December 20, 2023, following a lengthy illness. She was born on August 13, 1949, to Emma and Frank Ashley. Glenna was married to Cecil Eugene Denton on August 2, 1947, in Anson, TX. The Family moved to Hobbs, NM in 1954. She was a cosmetologist by trade.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her son Jackie, Her grandson Justin, and her son-in-law Mike Clampitt.

She is survived by her son Jimmy and wife Ann, daughter Lou Jean Clampitt, seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren.

Glenna will be remembered by family in a private memorial service. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society, the Boys and Girls Club of Hobbs, or One Love Worldwide.
