Gloria Whitley

Gloria Janell Whitley, 76, of Hobbs passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 at home with her family at her side. A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Taylor Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Andrew Hebert, officiating.

Janell was born on July 15, 1939 in Colorado City, Texas to Francis and Alpha Whitley. She raised her family while working as a business manager. After her retirement, she spent her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Janell loved being with her family and friends. She was a wonderful mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother, a dear friend and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Garland Whitley, Herman Whitley, Benny Whitley and an infant brother; sisters, Fern Whitley and Alpha Smith.

Survivors include her sons, Bobby Crouch of Hobbs and Donny Crouch and wife, Stacey of Hobbs; grandchildren, Chelsea Sharp and husband, Jason Sharp, Bobby Lee Crouch, Jr, Miles Crouch, Chad Crouch and Brittany Crouch; great grandchildren, Rickey Lance Shelton, III, Faith Mercedes Shelton, Hailey Arizona Shelton, Deja Crouch, Jocelyn Crouch, Braden Crouch, Brantley Crouch; close family friend, Clifford Kay and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
