Henry Trevino

Henry C. Trevino, 62, of Hobbs, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Elio Barrios, officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 2:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Henry was born on August 13, 1953 in Lamesa, Texas to Leonard P. and Beatrice Trevino. His life's purpose was being a kind and generous person. He was always helping others; putting their needs before his own. Henry enjoyed telling stories and having people laugh. He loved racing and being in the outdoors; camping, fishing, hunting and especially riding his Harley, but his true love was being with his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice C. Trevino and sister, Esther Trevino.

Survivors include his daughter, Chasity D. Trevino; father, Leonard P. Trevino; sisters, Mary Bundy (Scott), Jessie Olvera (Henry), Alice Trevino and Margie Dean (Hollis); brothers, Leonard C. Trevino (Vicki), Tommy Trevino (Kay) and Robert Trevino (Tanya); grandchildren, Shaylee B. Trevino (Carlos), McKenzie A. Pierson and Leland L. Trevino and great granddaughter, Sophia C. Maldonado.
