Graveside services for Jean Adcock of Hobbs will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, April 4, 2014 in Prairie Haven Cemetery with Pastor LaVoid Ford, officiating.
Jean was born on April 7, 1928 in Owensboro, Kentucky. She graduated from Ohio Business College in Columbus, Ohio. Jean was a resident of Hobbs for 32 years being employed at the Hobbs Police Department, Lea County Sheriffs Department and retiring after 24 years as the office manager at Ralph Johnson Rig. She was a member of the Lea County Sheriffs Posse and enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, and horse racing.
Jean bravely fought against a lengthy illness her soul arrived in Heaven at 9:15 PM, April 1, 2014. There will be no hungry dogs sharing Eternity with Jean. Survivors include her son, Mikal Kilcoyne of Hobbs grandson, Clancey Kilcoyne of Arlington, TX and great granddaughter, Fiona Kilcoyne of Arlington, TX.
