Jimmy "Coutie" Isreal, 69, was born on October 03, 1949 to William Israel and Ruthie Eileen Henley in Tiller, Arkansas. He passed from this world on May 30, 2019 in Hobbs, New Mexico. Coutie as he was called by almost everyone was a kid at heart, always pulling pranks and trying to scare people in good fun. No one was exempt from his little tricks, not even the nurses, who he loved to scare with his talking deer head he had on the wall. Coutie's favorite targets were his two grandchildren, whom he showered with affection. He always looked forward to time spent with them and was never happier then when they were around. Coutie had a heart of gold underneath the prankster's exterior though, always helping his friends and family. He made friends where ever he went; on hunting trips, at doctors' offices and everywhere in between. When his mother fell ill, Coutie was right there by her side to take care of her, along with his faithful dog, Pepper. It was his triple bypass surgery that led to his cancer diagnosis, but he never let any of that get in the way of living his life. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Coutie is preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Terry and Dottie.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Jessica Miranda and Hollie Isreal; brother, Wayne Israel; sisters: Hailey Torrez, two grandchildren; Demetry Miranda and Sharon McAdams and the most important of all, his fur baby Pepper. He is also survived by multiple nieces, nephews and other extended family. Honorary pallbearers will be Noah Torrez, David Miranda, Cody Scott, Demetry Miranda, Wayne Isreal and Kevin McAdams.
