Tony worked with John West Surveying, where he did some wire line work and helped as a hand. As a young man he rebuilt an engine for his GTO and was known for his racing, so following John West, he became a mechanic for the oilfield and worked for many years. He was employed by Hill Engine and Shlumberger and was reliable and a hard worker. He also enjoyed computers and later in his life taught himself how to build and repair them and was skilled in programming. Tony liked to go fishing, hunting, and to cook on the grill. He also spent time playing online games, watching sci-fi films, and he was a big Star Trek fan.
Tony could be clever and liked to joke with people. Sometimes he could leave you quite puzzled and questioning if he were serious or not. He was a strong and independent person and valued honesty.
He will be fondly missed by many.
