John Vine, Jr.

John "Babo" Vine, Jr., 43 of Hobbs, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 in Hobbs. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Chapel. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 PM, Monday the 1st at Griffin Funeral Home.

John was born on March 20, 1972 in Hobbs, NM to Lois and John Vine, Sr. He grew up in Hobbs and was always helping others. John enjoyed life and having fun. He was always a happy and cheerful person, but most remembered for being very giving.

Survivors include his parents, Lois and John Vine, Sr. of Hobbs; sister, Lisa Jurado of Hobbs; brothers, Kenneth Vine of Hobbs, Porter Vine of Mesa, AZ, Elgin Vine of Hobbs, Brandon Vine of Santa Rosa, NM and Ruben Vine of Mesa, AZ and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
