Karen Smith

Karen Sue Smith, 58, of Hobbs, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 in Lubbock, Texas. Karen was born on July 1, 1958 in Hobbs, NM to Frank and Janella Smith. She loved being outdoors with her dog, Flick, and her friends, but her true love was spending time with her family. Karen was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her mother and grandson, Joshua Enriquez. Survivors include her daughter, Heather Enriquez and husband, Roger of Hobbs; son, Justin Maxwell and wife, Sara of Hobbs; father, Frank Smith, Jr. of Odessa, TX; sisters, Lisa Najera and husband, Rick of Hobbs and Cindy Smith of Hobbs; grandchildren, Brianna Enriquez, Austin Mabrey and Alyssa Maxwell and numerous nieces and nephews.

Per Karen's wishes, no services will be held and cremation will take place. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
