Kasey Garcia

Kasey Garcia, 35, of Hobbs, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 in Hobbs. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 19, 2015 at St. Helena Catholic Church with Father Ricardo Bauza, celebrant. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday and 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Thursday at Griffin Funeral Home.

Kasey was born on October 16, 1979 in Hobbs, NM to Lorraine Romero and Felix Garcia. He grew up in Hobbs and graduated from Hobbs High School. Kasey served his country in the United States Navy. He loved to play golf and enjoyed being with his friends and family.

Survivors include his mother, Lorraine Romero; father, Felix Garcia and sister, Kelly Rueda and her husband, Erbert, all of Hobbs; nephews, Evan and Eryk Rueda; niece, Ezme Rueda; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles and girlfriend, Nery Tovar.
