Kenneth Perry

Kenneth Kenny W. Perry went to be with our Lord on Thursday April 11, 2013 in Hobbs, New Mexico. Kenny left behind the love of his life, Francine, three sons, Sean Perry wife Sandi of Waxahacie, Texas, James Perry of Overland Park, Kansas, and Johathan Poe wife Jaci of Weatherford, Texas. One sister, Connie Ortiz of Odessa, Texas, 5 granddaughters, 2 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and all of his extended family.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers. Kenny was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico, on April 30, 1952 to Lonnie K. and Thelma Jones Perry.

Kenny served in the Navy. Kenny loved to work, play golf and going on cruises. In 2002, Kenny started and ran the Oilfield Open in Lovington, New Mexico, for 9 years. He thoroughly enjoyed everyone that participated in his golf tournament. Kenny worked in all aspects of the oilfield for over 40 years. No one was a stranger to Kenny.

Kenny is up in heaven playing golf and looking down on all of his family and friends and wants them to know that he loves them very much. Kenny will be missed by all.

The memorial service will be held Monday, April 15, 2013, at 10 am at the Griffin Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Kennys name to the Susan G. Korman Cure for cancer. This was dear to his heart. He dedicated the Oilfield Open to this great cause.
