Lillie Sziy

Lillie Rae Sziy, 92, of Hobbs, NM, went home to her Lord on Sunday, March 10, 2013 while surrounded by family.

Lil was born in Spur, TX on October 20, 1920. She received a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from New Mexico State in Las Cruces and spent many years teaching in Hobbs before retiring from her passion. She was married to Zoltan Zeke Sziy on Thanksgiving Day 1943 who she now joins in heaven.
Her memory will be cherished by her survivors who loved her children: Steven Sziy and wife Laura, Eddie Sziy and wife Suzy grandchildren: Rob Sziy and wife Charlotte, Kelly Sziy and wife Kasie, Chris Frolick and wife Courtney, Charles Frolick and wife Denise and Granddaughter Erin Sziy, as well as 6 greatgrandchildren Brynlie, Olivia, Dyllan, Brody, Mallie and Kaiden.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
