Linda Alonzo

Linda Alonzo, 68, of Hobbs passed away March 14, 2018 at home surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday March 20, 2018 at Griffin Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday March 19, 2018 from 12:00-7:00 PM.

Linda was born on October 7, 1949 in Plainwell, Michigan to Gavino and Elvira Carrillo. She married Benito Alonzo on August 12, 1969 and they celebrated over 48 years of loving marriage. Her family was her joy and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Linda also enjoyed knitting and participating in activities with her church. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Oralia Calvillo.

Survivors include her husband, Benito Alonzo of Hobbs; son Jaime Alonzo (Angelica) of Hobbs; sisters Aurora Martinez (Claudio), Gracie Velazquez (Robert), Mary Bonilla (Manuel), and Becky Gonzalez (Lorenzo) all of Hobbs; brothers Gavino Carrillo, Jr. (Manuela) of Odessa, TX and Ricky Carrillo (Maria) of Pampa, TX; brother-in-law Carlos Calvillo, Sr. of Hobbs and grandchildren Jamie Alonzo, Ylexis Alonzo, Kimberly Alonzo, Kassidy Alonzo, Analiza Mabrey and Lexy Mabrey all of Hobbs.
