Linda K Marr

Linda Kay (Mings) Marr, a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother received her calling home to Jesus at the age of 76 on January 8, 2025. She was born May 14, 1948, in Hobbs, NM to Monroe Mings and Jean (Kluting) Mings. She was the second youngest of her six siblings Dwayne Mings, Carol Lester, Elaine Mings, Sharon Rubenstein, Anita Norris (Jay), and Michael Mings (Rhetha). 

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, a husband Steve Ragland, a daughter Deborah Sutton (Fish), and a sister Anita Norris. 

She is survived by her husband Bill Marr, daughter Lisa Snow (Roger), son KenDon Fish (Kyra) and son-in-law Larry Sutton, ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. 

Linda loved cooking, writing, reading, trips to the mountains, trips to the lake, or a drive down any random road to see where it would lead. She loved telling spooky stories to her grandchildren and having them stay over to cook those homemade pancakes. Linda enjoyed sending cards which usually included a heartfelt note expressing how proud she was of you and to inspire you with her faith and love for you. She was always eager for family to visit our holiday gatherings so everyone could fellowship and partake in communion. Her random comments on social media posts were always expected and entertaining. 

Although Linda’s presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us all.
