Marcelo C. Baeza, 72, of El Paso Texas, / Hobbs New Mexico, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Lea Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Monclova Coahuila, Mexico, on September 10, 1945. Marcelo proudly obtained his U.S. Citizenship in 1995, and worked and retired from the Oilfield industry, in 2013, where he worked well over 40 years in roustabout. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, but his greatest passion was spending time with his loved ones; children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters and brothers. He loved life, and his giving heart was a reflection of his soul, and the man he became.
His inspiring presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Ann Gonzalez, Linda Sue Baeza, Saundra Cook, one son, Romolo Baeza, three sisters, Ida, Rosa, Angie, and three brothers Joe, Louis, Marcelo, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his fiancée, Adela Ramirez.
Marcelo C. Baeza, loving father, grandfather, and brother, you loved unconditionally and you were loved unconditionally, you will be missed beyond words, but now, you walk in the Light of God, no pain, no suffering, Rest In Peace.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, January 5, 2018 at Griffin Funeral Home with Father Joe Pacquing, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday the 4th from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM at Griffin Funeral Home.
