Margaret Ward

In Loving Memory

Ms. Maragaret Ann Ward was born to this life on 17th November 1950 and entered eternal life on 29th August 2022.

Margaret was born in Brownfield, Texas to Virgil and Estella Ward and was one of eight siblings.   Margaret is survived by three of her elder siblings, Rosie Ward, James Ward, and Robert Ward, two daughters, Kimya Bush and Dionne Ward, six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren, a number of loving family members and close friends, all of whom she loved beyond measure, equally and without judgment.

Margaret had a zest for life, loved the Lord and her family.  She had a true servant’s heart that wanted to help in any way that she could.  Margaret did her best to ensure that her babies were taken care of by any means necessary.

All who had the pleasure of knowing Margaret got to experience her heart of gold and saw her inner light shine radiantly.  Margaret’s smile was contagious and her laugh infectious.  Both equaled her limitless kindness. Margaret’s beauty and taste were impeccable; she wouldn't go a day without making sure she looked her best, even it was to just sit outside to listen to the birds and sip on a cup of coffee (no sugar, no cream).  Margaret had a great sense of humor, especially when she was peppered with a series of questions from her eldest daughter.  When Kimya would ask:  "Did you drink more than 8oz of water today?” Margaret would reply: "Why yes, if I drink any more, I will float down the river".

Margaret loved to celebrate all holidays and would dress the part.

She liked to do things her own way and, by choosing to color outside the lines, she created works of art with her style and grace.

As we gather here today to celebrate the beautiful, fruitful life that Margaret lived, hold close to your hearts the memories that each of you have of her. When you see the sunshine, know that is a kiss from her to you.

Margaret had immense faith and knew without question that Jesus Christ was her Lord and Savior. She is at peace now reunited with her father, Virgil, mother Estella, her siblings, Virgil, Joyce, Mary, and Truman, in eternal glory with the Almighty Father. May they all celebrate together in Heaven.

This isn’t goodbye; it’s see ya later…
