Mariselda Sizemore born in San Luis de Cordero Durango; Mexico born on April 15, 1954. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on January 6, 2022. Survived by her husband Sammy Mejia, three sons Billy Joe Sizemore, Bobby-Jo Sizemore Kelly-Jo Sizemore, 3 daughters-in-law -in-laws, 10 grandchildren, and three sisters.
Her greatest love was the love for her family. She raised three young boys on her own. It wasn’t easy, it was a rough go, but she persevered. Her three boys grew into three young men. Her three young men grew into three men. They each married strong women like their mother. Those three families produced ten grandchildren. Those grandchildren will carry on the message. The message they all learned from their grandma Marty. Through love, hard work, and a little gumption you may have all you work for. But it’s all useless unless you have a family to share it with. This is her legacy we will carry on.
Visitation will be from 3:00PM- 6:00PM, Tuesday, January 18, 2022 with a Rosary to begin at 6:00PM at Griffin Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at St. Helena Catholic Church with Father Joe Paquin to officiate. Pallbearers to serve will be her sons: Billy Jo, Bobby Jo and Kelly Jo Sizemore, Ian Sizemore, Caleb Sizemore and Christopher Flores.
