Mattie Peacock

Mattie Pearl Peacock, 77, of Hobbs, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 in Hobbs. Graveside services will be 2:30 PM, Monday, March 25, 2013 in Prairie Haven Cemetery.

Mrs. Peacock was born on May 4, 1935 in Electra, Texas to Ruben and Lala Chisum. She married Jack Peacock in 1956 and they celebrated over 44 years of wonderful marriage. They owned Peacock Construction for many years. She was also an apartment manager. Mrs. Peacock enjoyed gardening and loved her cats. She was preceded death by her parents, husband, daughter, Vicki Williams, 1 sister and 1 brother.

Survivors include her daughters, Lauri Peacock and Kathie Rodriguez sons, Bradly Williams and Ricky Brigman sister, Helen Hicks numerous grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Services are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
