Melquiadez Morales

Melquiadez Morales, 81 of Hobbs, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 25, 2013. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 27, 2013at Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Morales, officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 12:008:00 PM, Tuesday at Griffin Funeral Home.

Mr. Morales was born on December 10, 1931 in Coyame, Mexico to Pilar and Felicitas Morales. He married Porrfiria Najera and they celebrated over 50 years of wonderful marriage. Mr. Morales worked on a ranch and in the oilfield throughout his life. He enjoyed gardening and loved talking to his children and grandchildren about his love for the Lord he knew no stranger and always helped those in need. Mr. Morales was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

Survivors include his wife, Porrfiria Morales daughters, Angie Munoz and Rosa Holguin sons, Andy Morales, Joel Morales and Alex Morales 6 sisters 1 brother 19 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
