Miguel De La Cruz

Funeral services for Miguel Rios De La Cruz, 86 of Hobbs will be held on

Friday, June 9, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor           officiating.

Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Miguel was born June 7, 1936, in Alpine, Texas to Pedro and Catarina De La Cruz, and died on June 4, 2023, in Hobbs NM. Miguel was a rancher, and a Veteran. He liked playing pool, playing dice, watching Westerns, and going to The Casino. He loved all his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Pedro and Catarina De La Cruz; and numerous brothers and sisters. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Elvira De La Cruz.

He is survived by three sons Michael De La Cruz and his wife Irene, Benjamin De La Cruz and his wife Tina, Arthur De La Cruz and his wife Linda, all of Hobbs, NM, one daughter Diana Cox and her husband Gary of Edgewood, NM. Seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2022, from 2:00-8:00 pm & Friday 10:00 am-2:00 pm. At Griffin Funeral Home.
