Mildred Robbins

Mildred Lea Robbins, 81, of Hobbs, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 in Lovington. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Trinity Holiness Church in Hobbs with Brother Gerald Anderson and Brother Johnny Don Lee, officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens. Mildred will be in state Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Griffin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Robbins was born on June 30, 1932 in Waldron, AR to George and Mattie Cox. She married Gene Robbins in 1952 and they celebrated over 30 years of wonderful marriage until his death in 1981. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and taking care of her family. Mildred was a devout Christian of the Trinity Holiness faith. She was a precious aunt and sister and a special caregiver to Donna. She was also preceded in death by her parents daughter, Donna Jean Robbins and 3 brothers.

Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Stauss and Peggy Black sons, Arlie Joe Robbins, Sr., Albert E. Robbins, Jr. and James E. Robbins brothers, Arthur William Cox, Thomas Cox and Morris Cox 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
