Onofre Balderrama

Onofre Balderrama passed from this life and entered into eternal rest on October 15th, 2020 in Hobbs, NM. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday October 20th, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hobbs, NM at 11:00am.

Rosary will be held on Monday October 19th, 2020 at 3:00pm at Griffin Funeral Home, with visiting hours that day from 10:00am-5:00pm.

Onofre Balderrama was born on May 4th, 1943 to Filiberto and Maria Refugio Balderrama in Santana, Santa Isabel, Chihuahua, Mx.

He lived in Santana, Santa Isabel, Chihuahua for many years where he began his family and raised his first eight children; Onofre Balderrama (Lisa), Elibaldo Balderrama (Rita), Lorena Alvarado (Raul), Oscar Balderrama (Becky), Nancy Villegas (Primo), Maribel Orozco (Alfredo) all of Hobbs, NM. He then moved to Hobbs, NM where his children reside and worked in the oil field for 19 years.

Later he returned to Santana, Santa Isabel where he married Beatriz Jaquez and had two children Jonathan Balderrama (Jackeline) and Daughter Azeneth Balderrama and his step children; Martin Jaquez, Omar Jaquez and Liz Balderrama. Where he enjoyed the ranch life and growing his own crops.

Other Children: Filiberto Balderrama, Patricia Balderrama, Ramon Balderrama and Maryanna Balderrama.

He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and great grandfather. He will be missed deeply.

Survived by his children, two sisters Maria Jesus and Carmen Balderrama, numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Proceeded in death by his daughters Lety and Mary Balderrama, brothers and sisters and Parents Filiberto and Maria Refugio Balderrama.
