Opal "Pat" Anderson

Opal Anderson, known as Pat to her friends, passed from this world on May 4, 2020 at the age of 94. She was born on April 4, 1926 to Gilbert and Mabel Russell and was raised by her step-mother Cora after the passing of Mabel. Pat was a strong woman, working throughout her life alongside her husband to raise her three boys. She and her husband, Harry, were married in August of 1946 in Kansas and spent a wonderful 62 years together until his passing in 2009. Pat loved to be active, working until she was forced into retirement and continuing to work in her garden and doing crafts until the end. She was a cancer survivor and her strength, protective nature and presence will be dearly missed by her family.

Preceding her in passing are her parents, husband Harry Alfred Anderson, and son Terry Anderson

Left to always cherish her memory are her two sons Lonnie Anderson (Marian) and Harry “Jimmie” Anderson (Sharon), three grandchildren; Lance Anderson (Jennifer), Dana Huntsman (Sean) and Joshua Anderson as well as three great-grandchildren; Lauren and Avery Anderson and Elijah Huntsman.
